File Roller [Solved]

Post by nickdanger » Mon Oct 28, 2013 16:56

How do I enable "COMPRESS" as an option in the right click menu for selected files in the file manger (nautilus). I have had it in the past, but it seems to be in the menu sometimes, and other times it is not there. Right now it is missing.
Thank you for the help, ( current distro, Sabayon 64 Gnome)

It looks like file roller is built with -nautilus flag. You can file a bug request in our bugzilla to have the package rebuilt with the nautilus flag enabled. If you know portage, you can always rebuild the package yourself and enable it.

Thanks, I just couldn't find a place to enable nautilus, but now I understand how it works.
