Can virtual/pyparsing-2 be removed?[Solved]

Postby gocool » Wed Sep 25, 2013 20:57

Hi All,

I did a equo deptest on my machine and it came up with few dependencies not found, what course of action should I take?

Code: Select all
sabayon user # equo deptest --ask
>>  @@ Running dependency test...
>>  @@ These are the dependencies not found:
>>    # dev-python/pyparsing:py2[-python_single_target_python2_5,-python_single_target_python2_6,python_targets_python2_7,-python_single_target_python2_7,-python_single_target_pypy1_8,-python_single_target_pypy1_9]
>>       # Needed by:
>>       # virtual/pyparsing-2

Code: Select all
Would you like to install the packages ? [Yes/No] Yes

Code: Select all
>> No packages found.
(1, False)

As you can see above when I say "yes" it just exited out with a false.

Can I remove virtual/pyparsing-2 package safely without messing anything up?

I removed virtual/pyparsing-2 without breaking anything.

Thought to jot it down here, for any one else who might be struggling with the same.
