WiFi using Mate

Post by GhosttheAngel » Fri Jun 21, 2013 23:15

I have two problems:
1st: If I want to get into our Wifi, i have to type the password into the settings all over again.
What shall I do?
2nd: Is there a possibility to get a litle symbol into the panel like under windows, mac or kde?

Thanks in advance

What shall I do?
1- Right click the connections icon on the top right
2- Click "Edit Connections"
3- Go to "Wireless" and click "Edit" on the network you want to configure
4- Figure it out yourself from here

MATE or GNOME provide a keyring to store your password.

Are you sure, that nm-applet is running? It is responsible for the Tray-Icon of NetworkManager.
