I am not a complete Linux novice. I have used Ubuntu for 12 months before switching to Sabayon with Gnome. Therefore the command line is not a complete stranger but I still find it a lot easier to change settings with GUI rather than command line.
I have just purchased a Zyxel 325 twin bay NAS and added 2 x 1TB seagate disks.
I can find it on my laptop (windows 7) no problem but it does not appear on my desktop (Sabayon) which is my main computer.
Somewhere I need to enter the IP as smb/ IP but I cannot find how to do this under Gnome. KDE desk top is very simple and it can easily be configured using Dolphin but I am having difficulty in Gnome.
Can anyone tell me where I can find settings for Samba in Gnome?
