Android SDK Insufficient Device Permissions

Postby bobmc » Fri May 24, 2013 1:32

I can transfer files to/from a Nexus 7 using gMTP and to/from a Galaxy ACE via USB mount. However, connectivity is not there for SDK app developement. I followed the Android tutorial but could not transfer the result over the bridge.

Code: Select all
bobmc@ION330 ~/bins/droid $ android list targets
Available Android targets:
----------
id: 1 or "android-17"
     Name: Android 4.2.2
     Type: Platform
     API level: 17
     Revision: 2

-do-debug:
[zipalign] Running zip align on final apk...
 [echo] Debug Package: /home/bobmc/bins/droid/work3/bin/Hello-debug.apk

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 12 seconds
bobmc@ION330 ~/bins/droid/work3 $ adb install bin/Hello-debug.apk
error: insufficient permissions for device
