systemd does not reboot

Post by ags40 » Wed May 22, 2013 21:44

After executing 'eselect sysvinit set systemd' and 'eselect settingsd set systemd' the computer hangs up. Don't know what info could be useful to you. Re-setting back to sysvenit brings everything to normal. But I want systemd. Thanks

Give the commands:

Code: Select all

# systemctl enable systemd-reboot.service
# systemctl start systemd-reboot.service
There could possibly be other services to be started :? (systemd-halt.service, etc.....)
Ciao

After:

Code: Select all

# eselect settingsd set systemd
I get:

Code: Select all

!!! Error: Target "sysvinit" doesn't appear to be valid!
I'm a little perplex ???
