Configuration file updates? [Solved]

Post by dirigible » Thu Dec 13, 2012 13:50

Rigo is giving me the following message.
It is extremely important to update these configuration files before rebooting the system.

I have no idea what this is about. Should I just accept the changes?

As a general rule it is always a good idea to accept the changes that entropy (rigo) suggests, The only time not to is if you have personally edited a configuration file for a specific purpose, The three mentioned there should be accepted.

I don't think Rigo actually updates these files for you (stand to be corrected here).

As manifesto says above, I always issue as root in a terminal equo conf update

In fact it does, and it asks for the root password first.
