Installing Zekr in Sabayon

Post by izh34 » Sun Nov 25, 2012 11:51

I'm quite new in Gentoo. So I have no idea where to start first on how to install any software based Linux in Sabayon.

I want to try to install Zekr (http://zekr.org/quran/en/quran-for-linux) in my netbook installed with Sabayon 10 XFCE. Can somebody help me?

A good spot to start is :
https://wiki.sabayon.org/index.php?title=En:Entropy

I don't see Zekr in entropy or portage and we don't support installing stuff outside of the package manager so it looks like you will have to refer to Zekr page on how to install from source. Looks like this user got it working: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgr ... bUP4m-tCc4
