Flash player crashes every now and then. [Solved]

Postby akshay.sulakhe » Fri Jun 15, 2012 18:55

Hello, I am currently running Sabayon 9 X64 version. I have shockwave player already installed in my system. I actually dont know much difference between shockwave flash and normal adobe flash. Its just that, everytime i am playing a video,it crashes atleast 2-3 times. I cant scroll in the video, because it again crashes the flash player. The current version of shockwave installed on my system is 11.2.r202. I also tried to install adobe flash package via emerge,by using sudo emerge adobe-flash. It installed, but i cant see the version changing or anything. Kindly let me know what to do. Thank you.

You are running the latest version of flash currently available:

http://packages.sabayon.org/show/adobe- ... 5,standard

You can try disabling hardware acceleration by right clicking on a flash player and see if that helps.
