Sab 9 - how to change KDM cursor theme

Postby greywalk » Thu Jun 14, 2012 20:27

Hi,

Is there a way to change the cursor theme that is used on the login screen of Sabayon 9 KDE? Currently and by default Sab 9 KDE uses a gnome cursor.

The method with creating default/index.theme in /usr/share/icons/ (http://bit.ly/M8vYl7)that worked for Sabayon 8 KDE doesn't work anymore for some reason.

Does anyone know a solution for this issue? Thanks.

At login you are root

changing root's cursor theme maybe fix this.

Code: Select all
$ kdesu systemsettings

I changed the cursor theme for root - no luck.
I even deleted any other themes but the oxygen theme for root - still no luck, the same ugly black cursor is used.

gosh, why can't changing some cursor theme be easier?
