Clementine and Last.fm [Solved]

Post by tollgate » Thu May 31, 2012 5:19

I have just installed Sabayon having previously used Mandriva for a long time. My preferred music player is Clementine. I have installed it using sulfur and it works fine, except it's missing last.fm which I had in Mandriva. So, is it possible to have this in Sabayon and how?

You can use portage to compile clementine with last.fm plugin.
Just run as root:

Code: Select all

emerge --sync
USE="lastfm" emerge clementine
equo rescue spmsync

Thank you sihox - that fixed it.

Just wondered what that last line does "equo rescue spmsync" ?

Hi there,
equo rescue spmsync makes Entropy aware of your updated packages that you compiled with emerge (with the last-FM USE-Flag).

cheers
