KDE system settings content [Solved]

Post by msdobrescu » Sat Aug 27, 2011 9:05

Hello,

I have Sabayon 6 K x64 up to date from the weekly repo.
How does look the full KDE System Settings panel?
Mine had not the file associations, but it appeared magically later.
Still missing the shares applet, and I have troubles accessing samba shares (I can from other OS).
Which are the known applets that should be on the KDE system settings panel?
Which are the not working ones, buggy, and alternatives? (for instance I've heard of about the KUser, that it has bugs... )
How should I reset it if needed?

Thanks,
Mike

hello,

this is how my system-settings panel looks like:

all works. the 'QT graphics system' placed under systemadministration doesn't originally belong there.
i manually added it.
This is the default system-settings panel:

kuser is still buggy.

instead, you can use superadduser.
