Can't SU

Post by lsabayon » Tue Aug 23, 2011 16:26

Hi,

I can't SU as a regular user for some reason, is this coded in on purpose or something else?

I always get "permission denied".

Thanks.

You write "SU" but I hope you are actually typing "su", as the command is case-sensitive.

LiveDVD or installed to HDD?
Which SL version? 6? If installed to HDD, is it upgraded to current?
Which arch? x86? amd64?
Which desktop environment? KDE? GNOME?
