You'll have to request the package in our bugzilla or go trough a manual installation (not supported).

Since it's not in portage nor in overlays, a manual installation is probably the way you have to follow.
Download the package then follow the instructions to manually install. Generally speaking, you must:

Code: Select all

./configure
make
su
make install
exit
Here you may found some advices for Gentoo: http://zekr.org/wiki/Installation#Gentoo

Actually there is an ebuild for the package app-text/zekr in the java-experimental overlay: http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/jav ... text/zekr/

Then the best way is to fill a package request, if you need it immediately you can:

Code: Select all

su
layman -a java-experimental
emerge --sync
layman -S
emerge zekr
layman -d java-experimental
equo rescue spmsync

Sorry, DanySK, but I didn't mention that the java-experimental is not accessible using Layman that way:

Code: Select all

# layman -a java-experimental
* Overlay "java-experimental" does not exist.
#
I think the OP is best using a local overlay to install zekr.

1. Download the ebuild from zekr-0.7.1.ebuild and save the file on your Desktop.

2. Download the icon from zekr.png and save the file on your Desktop.

3. If it's not already there, add the following line to the file /etc/make.conf:

Code: Select all

PORTDIR_OVERLAY="${PORTDIR_OVERLAY} /usr/local/portage/"
4. Then do the following:

Code: Select all

# emerge --sync
# layman -S
# mkdir -p /usr/local/portage/app-text/zekr/files
# cd /usr/local/portage/app-text/zekr
# cp /home/benoumhani/Desktop/zekr-0.7.1.ebuild .
# cp /home/benoumhani/Desktop/zekr.png ./files/
# ebuild zekr-0.7.1.ebuild manifest
# emerge -1v zekr
5. If you are an Entropy user then also do the following afterwards to tell Entropy what you did via Portage:

Code: Select all

# equo rescue spmsync
I have not tried to install zekr myself, so do not know if the ebuild works.
