appearance help

Post by darkreaper476 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 7:00

I am new to Sabayon and was wondering how I can change the color of the selected window button on the "task bar" on the gnome panel. That weird green yellow isn't very pleasant to me.

I am using compiz and emerald theme manager, and I am not used to the way this is set up for I am a previous mandriva user and everything was set up via gnome-appearance-properties and the compiz settings.

THANKS

change to the gnome wm?? otherwise use emerald theme manager(if you can't find it take a look in sulfur), I believe you can choose the wm(window manager) via the fusion icon (in the task bar up top), youll still have all your gui graphical goodness

attachment shows what color I'm talking about. I understand how emerald works, and the compiz (icon) is pretty much the same as what I'm used to. I just dont know how to change the color for the (picture).

THANKS!

You can right click on the desktop and choose Change Desktop Background then Theme then Customize then Controls.

Perfect thanks!! I didn't think that "Controls" changed that color, plus I thought that Emerald took over the controls theme like it does the boarder theme.

awesome!

Now do you know how to change the loading "watch" cursor along with the little finger when your clicking on the links?
Its on "normal" under Emerald.

Thanks!!
