Network available before login [Solved]

Postby php7 » Sat Dec 12, 2009 0:16

Hello,

right now i am quite mad about one thing: i do not have any connection on eth0 (or any other network) before i login into kde.

i have no idea why does the networkmanager do not set the network already while booting.

can somebody offer help? thanks!

it was checked. the only one unchecked was "system connection".
but in the meantime i just found some hints on the net, and went an other way: i removed network manager and installed wicd as daemon to start on boot. this way i have network way long before the login.
thanks!
