upgrading to 5 [Solved]

Postby mnjagadeesh » Tue Oct 27, 2009 12:18

I saw many checksum errors while upgrading to 5.0. Have others also experienced it? whats solution you found?

Thanks

try to give equo hop 5; equo update; equo upgrade;

Post here if you still have errors with precision.

Hopping to branch 5 from 4.x now it's really a BIG jump: you will save a lot of time and headaches reinstalling the OS.

You are correct. Quickest and finest way is upgrading using installer DVD.

Once you are with the latest and greatest version, then keep it updated through equo/Sulfur :)
