perl broken after update [Solved]

Post by mamaq » Sat Mar 09, 2019 22:18

After the last update perl is no longer working. Starting vim or calling perl in cli returns:

Code: Select all

error while loading shared libraries: libperl.so.5.26: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
The update pushed dev-lang/perl 5.24.3-r1|0 to 5..26.2|0

Thanks a lot for your help

I think so. I run my update script, which includes the following steps.

Code: Select all

equo update
equo install -a entropy equo
equo upgrade -a
equo deptest
equo conf update
equo libtest
I reinstalled perl manually this morning with

Code: Select all

equo i -a dev-lang/perl
and after re-installation everything works now.
