Installation Disk : destination greyed out

Postby HJarausch » Wed Nov 29, 2017 17:39

Hi,

I have booted from the 16.11 Xfce boot disk.
I can't select the destination partition - it's greyed out.

What am I missing.

Or, I'm an experienced Gentoo user (Sabayon is for friend of mine). Is it possible to just unpack a Sabayon system onto
an empty partition, chroot to it and customize it.

Many thanks for your patience,
Helmut

Hi, that looks like a CD-Image. Do I have to boot from this?

Isn't there a ready, minimal system which I can just copy to the (empty) partition?
Then I could chroot into this and start configuring / updating.

Thanks,
Helmut
