Sabayon-weekly older than sabayonlinux.org??

Post by vibrion » Wed Oct 14, 2020 15:08

I've noticed a long time from last upgrade. Im using sabayon-weekly and community. Community seems to be dead (mirrorsort reports 0b/sec) and weekly is older than sabayonlinux.org. It is safe to add both repos (weekly and sabayonlinux.org) and upgrade to newer packages? or I must comment out sabayon-weekly?
Thanks!

I'm not one of the developers, but i have in mind that it is not good use weekly and sabayonlinux.org together.

if your sabayon is very old, years,,, a new installation of sabayon is better, but you may make backup of your personal files (possibility of broken system)

and try:

Code: Select all

# equo repo disable sabayon-weekly
# equo repo enable sabayonlinux.org
# equo up --force
# equo u -av
