install python3.7

Post by Anton-0997 » Wed Oct 30, 2019 21:21

I wonder how to install python3.7 (and other packages, which are still in testing, for that matter) using equo

You can't install python 3.7 using equo until it's pushed out by maintainers. (Ok, you could figure out how to package it up yourself and then install it via equo, but that wouldn't be worth the effort if you're just looking to install it on your own system...)

The repository maintainers have to ensure they aren't breaking users systems before pushing out packages. Sometimes these things can take a good while to sort it out all, but it means we don't end up with broken systems.

Not yet in Entropy, you could try your luck with Portage though.
