How to have custom USE flags

Post by zioalex » Tue Jun 11, 2019 16:08

Hi guys,
is there any way to have a package with custom USE flags?

I only found the way to build it with emerge but then the next time I update the package with entropy I lost it.

IE: evolution-data-server doesn't have the FLAG oauth that is needed uín certain O365 configuration.

May be does exist a clean way to have such setup?

Thanks
Alessandro

The best plan of attack is to file a bug for the package to be recompiled in entropy to include the flag you desire. As long as it doesn't break anyone else, the devs are usually happy to oblige.

Hi.

By accident I've read this post and I agree we should enable this flag.

As Stupot stated, best way to request these things is in our bugzilla: https://bugs.sabayon.org/buglist.cgi?co ... lution=---

This will be in Entropy soon.
