Install a new Sabayon release via Rigo?

Post by wimvandorst » Mon Jun 08, 2015 21:30

I have a working installation of Sabayon on my laptop (for many years), and regularly update it with Rigo. Now there is a new release available, viz., with a new kernel, latest GCC, etc. This release, nor these newer packages are available for me to install via Rigo. What should I do to make the apparently bigger Sabayon release leap? TIA!

we are a rolling release so as long as you are doing your upgrades you will have the latest release. To upgrade kernel you will need to use kernel-switcher, please see our wiki as it explains to use kernel-switcher
