edelta files

how can you tell if you are getting edelta files when updating the system,I see edelta is enabled.
Host: sabayon.local Kernel: 4.19.0-sabayon x86_64 bits: 64

Today I updated still not seeing any edelta files it was all kde files a big download edelta is enabled why doesnt this work for me
I use equo from terminal
asrock extreme 4,Intel® Core™ i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz × 8 graphics Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.3, 256 bits),32 gb ram,sabayon linux,fedora 20,opensuse 13.1, linux mint 17

deltas work only if you've just downloaded previous package(s) without cleaning the download directory (equo cleuanup)

Example : foo1 -->first download

then foo1 has an update to foo1-r1 . from foo1 to foo1-r1 there is .delta .

if you delete (or have not ) foo1 there's no delta for foo1-r1 . you'll download foo1-r1 full package.

So what you are saying sab is until I have done more updates delta wont start working.I have just installed the latest sabayon so guess I will have to wait

Correct. The delta is of the entropy install packages, not a delta of each unpacked application.
