equo upgrade got stuck [Solved]

Post by svantoviit » Tue Feb 17, 2015 10:30

While running equo upgrade it gets stuck every time on "Sorting dependencies" and I'm left unable to update the system:

Code: Select all

# equo u -a
╠  @@ Calculating System Updates:
╠  @@ Calculating dependencies...
╠ ::  (4.7%) Sorting dependencies ::
Additional info:

Code: Select all

$ equo version
295

Code: Select all

$ equo q installed -vq equo entropy
app-admin/equo-295
sys-apps/entropy-295

Code: Select all

$ equo status

Tried to reinstall entropy and equo even with portage but it's always the same.
Any hints how to resolve this issue?

Re: equo upgrade got stuck at Sorting dependencies

Reinstalled glibc and it works again... Sorting the dependencies takes a while, but the upgrade runs.
Maybe it required only a little bit more patience... or actually a bigger bit...
