How to downgrade python version

Postby dulo » Sat Apr 05, 2014 13:11

How is it possible to install the version 2.6 of python into a slot in parallel with 2.7 ?
I know how to do it in gentoo, but is there a mechanism to do it with equo/rigo ??

No, since 2.6 is not available in entropy:

Code: Select all
$ equo s -vq dev-lang/python | grep -vE \(exec\|tk\)
dev-lang/python-2.7.5-r2
dev-lang/python-3.2.5-r2
dev-lang/python-3.3.3
