This is my first post here, so let me start greeting all the community!
Well I'm a gentoo user, but because I need to install some old hardware (Intel Celeron P4 2.5GHz, generation before hyperthreading) and compilling sources in it is too boring, I just give a try with sabayon.
Well my problem here is about sabayon-linux latest kernel version that seems to crash with my hardware...
Because of that I just try to downgrade to kernel 3.8 since sabayon live cd boot with it.
When I do the following
- Code: Select all
equo install linux-sabayon:3.8
it says that hash is not found and start seaching in each repository without any success.
So I would like to ask you if there is any way to get an older linux-sabayon version (without having to get sources and use genkernel)?
