Local tgz\tbz installing [Solved]

How to install a local tgz or tbz2 package downloaded from packages.sabayon.org without using sulfur gui?

equo install /path/to/package.tbz2

I would also suggest to use ' around the path to the local package, to prevent bash expansion, like this:
(as root)

Code: Select all

equo install --ask '/complete/path/to/the/package.tbz2'
for example:
(as root)

Code: Select all

equo install --ask '/home/reckount/local~funny$PATH&to package.tbz2'
the --ask parameter is just for a confirmation prompt.
