Entropy update after install [Solved]

Postby deadDrift » Tue May 03, 2011 20:26

I downloaded and installed the daily iso (5/1/2011). No problems there. I ran 'equo update --force' once and received Repository revision:2321. I then updated the repositories.conf to use the 'fastest' for me - cross-lfs.sabayonlinux.org. I ran 'equo update --force' and this time it updated to Repository revision: 2322.

I now try 'equo install entropy sulfur equo --relaxed' . It wants to install the 1.0_beta10 version to replace the 1.0_beta5 version of the programs already on the system. It tries to download from 10 different mirrors but errors out saying 'not found'.

Any ideas? Are the mirrors out of sync with the db. Is there a way to see the status of individual mirrors?

Thanks,
deadDrift

I just tried the 'equo install entropy sulfur equo --relaxed" command again and the 1.0-beta10 update ran to completion this time. So I guess so DB list of package versions was out of sync with the actual versions available on the mirror. All is well it would appear.
