Sulfer save files

Postby throdon » Wed Jan 06, 2010 18:15

can I transfer these files to a newly installed Sabayon and use them or are they only for that particular install(because of dependencies and stuff).

Usage: everyone has a set of apps and packages that they add to a fresh Sabayon install then they eventually add more.

can I import these files, I am unsure because of dependencies, I don't know what the code says when I look at these files and because nothing is static in Linux.

and if this will not work is there a way for sulfer to give me a list that isn't code that I can at least copy and paste so I can reference it when I have a brand new install sitting in front of me, going through sulfer and ticking boxes is a huge PIMA, but with a list sitting in front of you it would be a lot easier.

you can share files and even host the files and point entropy to the directory via network to use em
