FireFox Search Plugins for Entropy Packages

Post by wolfden » Tue Dec 25, 2007 15:46

Firefox search plugins for http://packages.sabayonlinux.org

x86
http://wolf911.us/sabayon/search/standardx86.html
x86_64
http://wolf911.us/sabayon/search/standardx86-64.html

Remember that packages.sabayon.org does not work if you have adblocking software, so disable it for that site before you do a search.

Hi, Wolfden.
An small question.
if the user of sabayon, does not want update all the system, due for. ex to HD free ammount...., it is possible download only one binary pack from the Sabayon Repo (with the bowser, ,with curl, wget etc...) save it on the HD and install using equo or spritz?
Te utility of this , is for example, suppse that an user want to mantain in their comp a package no longer more developed, but the user want, it, the user may download and save the pack, for example in a pen drive.
An example is Beryl. Beryl is slighlly different of Compiz-Fusion.
Some people enjoy Beryl and have Beryl saved. For example, i had mantained the DVD of the Loops 1-3 of the Sabayon 3.5. Sometimes i put thge DVD on drive, only for see some Beryl effects!

this isn't the topic for this, way off-topic

Beryl merged into C-F - way outdated - the problem with stuff that is old, it eventually stop working all together.

See wiki for running a community repo for maintaining your own packages.
