I think two days ago the system force me to change the password again.

It's probably a new measure by lxnay to try and reduce spamming by bots.

Setting up user registration settings in phpBB 3.0 wrote:Force Password Change: This setting forces users to change their passwords after the set number of days. Setting this to 0 disables this feature.

It's not uncommon for log-in software to force users to change their password at a defined interval. One of the WebMail accounts I use forces me to change my password every 6 weeks, for example.

These types of security measures are intended to make things more difficult for the unscrupulous.

Never seen it in a forum before, but it does make sense yeah. Let's just hope I can re-use old passwords :mrgreen:

Interesting. I changed my password back then but haven't had to within the past few weeks.
