Try

Code: Select all

darktable -d
and see if that gives you any more info?

Absolutely same message.
I have re-installed it, still the same.

So far, I've done this:

Code: Select all

gdb darktable

For help, type "help".
Type "apropos word" to search for commands related to "word"...
Reading symbols from darktable...(no debugging symbols found)...done.
(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/darktable
warning: Unable to find libthread_db matching inferior's thread library, thread debugging will not be available.

Program received signal SIGILL, Illegal instruction.

Then:

Code: Select all

Those dumps don't look particularly useful since the thread debugging wasn't working. You might need to reach out to the darktable development team/person and ask for their assistance. So far all we can tell is that the problem comes from libdarktable.so, which is a runtime library that is specific to darktable.

Indeed, it is, but first, could anybody confirm it crashes on another Sabayon system?

I have no debug symbols, so it's irrelevant:

After all, is somebody using darktable at all that can confirm it works or not for him?

The latest package fixed it.
