Hi sabayonino! Please explain:
when connecting to the Plasma + x11 remotely using x2go
I think this is the problem.

does celestia start on your local pc?

does celestia start over x2goclient ?

I can't understand if your problem is to start celestia localy or remotely (over x2goclient)

Sorry. Both.
- On one PC with nVidia only, it can't start
- Remotely on another PC, with Intel + nVidia, it can't start
- Locally, on that PC with Intel + nVidia, it can start (because it runs under Intel HD, actually)
+ On the PC with Intel + nVidia, I have issues configuring two monitors (the output HDMI is linked to the nVidia card, as they say)

IMHO, nVidia drivers have an issue - they seem to miss some symlinks or something... on both PCs.

and then run celestia as user ?
(switch back to xorg-x11 if won't start)

Thank you for the fast response, I will do all these when I get back home this evening.
One question though, is bumblebee/optirun stuff to be done on the PC directly or remotely?
I've mentioned the dual monitor issues just to clarify my presumptions.
Anyway, I couldn't make it show two displays in the KDE's configuration panels even though I have followed Sabayon's online documentation. And I can't setup Plasma applets to see my Wacom Intuos L tablet, although it is functional (it responds), but I see it fine using the equivalent Gnome tool. If I understand well, it is related to nVidia + x11 setup too, through x11 config...

I can't manually start X as user as X seems to be started already.
I have reverted to x11 and restarted.

Had you tried to use Bumblebee to select between the drivers for the Intel or the Nvidia video board?

Another method is create and edit a file /etc/X11/xorg.conf, containing only configurations to force only nvidia to work.
