Hallo guys.
Some days ago, I've upgraded my Sab system with KDE 64bit. There was a new Chromium also.
The version is now 35.0.1916.114 (270117).
I'm not sure, Adobe Flash was also upgraded. However, on some websites opened with Chromium, e.g.
http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/MH370-May-Have-Crashed-Close-to-India-30235548.html
I get a message, that I have to install Adobe Flash Player, which is provided as Pugin.
When I open the matching Adobe Website (by click on the link), I see the Flash version to be installed is:
Version 11.2.202.359
Then, when I check in Rigo, I see my installed Flash Player is of same version number also.
So, why does Chromium (or the website maybe?) doesn't work correct with my (the latest) Flash Player?
Do I need maybe (a)nother plugin? I don't remember, I have ever installed a separate Flash Player while using Chromium.
Any idea? I have reinstalled Flash Player from Rigo, rebooted and reopened Chromium, no change, same message, Flash is necessary. Can I maybe install a working alternative to Flash Player?
And: On the Adobe Flash website I've read, that this version of Flash will be the last one which will support Linux platform. What does it mean?
Will html5 substitute Flash then fast or are Linuxers in a bad luck?
