how to run memtest [Solved]

Post by msdobrescu » Wed Jul 31, 2013 17:39

Hello,

I know this is trivial for many, but how could I run memtest?
Is there a live cd option?
Could I add it to grub and how?

Thanks.

I think I have seen a memtest option on a Live CD.

You can also try equo s memtest. Looks like you can install one, too.

Thanks, I have installed memtest86 and memtest86+.
I had to run grub update in order to have them as boot option.

"[Solved]" goes at the end of the first post's Subject, not at the beginning. See sticky thread. Fixed it for you this time.
