Liquorix Kernel?

Post by The Catboy » Sat Jul 06, 2013 1:56

Is there anyway to use Liquorix kernel with Sabayon? As well does Liquorix support ATI drivers? I wanted to test it out with Debian before, but it wouldn't work with ATI drivers for Debian no matter how hard I tried and often caused other problems, but Sabayon seems to be a lot more stable than LMDE, so I wanted to test it on here instead. Sadly I couldn't find a single thread about it nor could I find anything with Google on this topic. So I decided to make a thread myself to find out more about it.

Sabayon is based on gentoo. The easier manner can be compile the Liquorix-kernel from the gentoo overlays:

However, i see something in the net that liquorix kernel are difficult to use with ATI drivers in all distros,
