"06/28/2011 Enigmail v1.2 has been released. This release supports Thunderbird 5.0 and SeaMonkey 2.1."

Maybe we shouldn't package it anymore. You can simply download it as a plugin for thunderbird.

Thanks joost. I shall just wait then. :)

I've the same problem since I updated to Thunderbird 5.
I tried everything but i haven't been able to make it working.
I tried installing Enigmail 1.2 from their site, removing the old in "/usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/".
But nothing. Then i waited the 1.2.1 version, but nothing again.
I don't know what to do now.
I think gpg works correctly, since KMail works with it.
Thanks, Alex.

For everyone still having this problem, removing everything related to enigmail(meaning the stuff in the extensions folder in your profile, editing the extensions.rdf and removing it's folder in /usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions/\{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5\}/) and installing it again from the Mozilla Addon-page fixed it for me.
