Strange error on opening encrypted partition

Post by aquarius » Thu Jun 30, 2011 20:41

Hi,

when I open my encrypted partition (located on logical volume) I always get following

Code: Select all

aruba ~ # cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/vg_acer/lv_encrypted lv_decrypted
Enter passphrase for /dev/vg_acer/lv_encrypted:
semid 393216: semop failed for cookie 0xd4d7c5d: incorrect semaphore state
Failed to set a proper state for notification semaphore identified by cookie value 223181917 (0xd4d7c5d) to initialize waiting for incoming notifications.

The partitions seams to work fine.

I've found similar problem is risen on Gentoo forum:

Is this a bug/should I report it?

Thanks
