pim recommendations? [Solved]

Postby Marvin » Sat Oct 10, 2009 16:27

Fitzcarraldo you're on a role m8.
i hadn't found that. it does link to something that i will need to think about as i don't really understand accounts. think i'm going to need to run it side by side with quickbooks then compare the results.
anyway, thanks for all your replies - everyone a great solution (although i've not done them all yet).

since you're clearly so wise, how about recommending a calendar or pim? i was using sunbird on windows but i was looking for an alternative as it sometimes, far too often, lost updates when it was unable to save - a pain when you've typed a lot in.
i started to use google calendar which i like but it seems rather clunky to me - certainly not as slick as gmail. it was nice to share some parts of my diary though.
so, diary or pim; rock solid stable; usual stuff like todo;s, appointments, tasks, reminders, alarms; fast but fully featured; share some data if possible; i'd really like to import all my sunbird data and some sort of backup ability if at all possible.

if you fancy giving me more any information, my personal life is pretty crap, so feel free to jump in. as i said, you're doing brilliantly so far and you can't possibly do worse than me!

off to send that email to curse ... hope he's not been reading my mind again.
