K3B Troubles

Post by notsure » Fri Mar 20, 2009 21:34

I have troubles starting K3B, It just wont start, I have to reboot. And then it will usually work. When it does work sometimes it will lock up, I've tried to kill the process with kill -9 pid#, and that does not work. The only way I can restart is to reboot. Does anyone have any ideas ?
I am on an AMD64 dual core, and running 2.6.26-sabayon.
thanks for your help!

The 2.6.26 kernel was SL 3.5 wasn't it? Which version of K3b do you have installed? I have 1.0.5-r3 installed.

Code: Select all

$ cat /etc/sabayon-release
Sabayon Linux x86-64 4

No ideas about the k3b problem but other kill options are worth trying to save the reboot:

Code: Select all

killall k3b
or

Code: Select all

xkill
