K3B bin/cue error [Solved]

Postby Ric » Sat Jan 03, 2009 20:12

I just tried burning a bin/cue image with K3B and it failed with this error:
Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 2.0 (options 0x0010)
Starting write at speed 40...
Process can be aborted with QUIT signal (usually CTRL-\).
WARNING: No super user permission to setup real time scheduling.
Turning BURN-Proof on
Enabling JustLink.
ERROR: Cannot set write parameters mode page.
ERROR: Cannot setup write parameters for session-at-once mode.
ERROR: Please try to use the 'generic-mmc-raw' driver.
ERROR: Writing failed.

Is there a workaround for this?
Act weird. It supports freedom.
It gives others permission to act weird too.

I looked at K3Bs program controls in settings/ configure/ programs.
cdrdao alone didn't like to write bin/cues on my burner, but I set it to use cdrecord, and it worked fine. Fast too :)
