you could always emerge it. Just because you are using entropy does not necessarily mean that you can't use portage to emerge in a few packages. Just be warned, this is not officially supported.

If your comp have 32 bits architeture, you dont need this new flash player..
it is only for 64 bits machines.
if you have 32, a simple update, give to you the necessary flash player....
