Optical Writing Tool for Privacy

Post by AlmaFuerte » Sun Nov 02, 2008 23:26

Hi everyone. I'm searching for a software tool that i can use for write data to a cd/dvd and mantain privacy. In other words, i've data that i want to write to a cd/dvd into a folder, and i want to that folder be protected with a password so only me (ideal speaking) could open it.
Anyone knows something like that?

Note: i don't want to compress the data (zip, rar, etc.)

Truecrypt sounds about right for that but you would need to create a volume file first, place the data in it and then burn that file to a cd/dvd.

Edit - perhaps you could combine Truecrypt with packet writing software to get "on the fly" encryption of the cd/dvd?
