Cedega hardlocks system

Postby doom0r » Mon Oct 13, 2008 1:48

I've installed Cedega via the repo and it completely hardlocks my box. Running 3.5 x86_64. Using an different tar of the same version (6.0.2) does the same thing. Tried 6.0 also. Cedega from the tarball works fine on (K)ubuntu 64-bit. Hardlock is near immediate. I have no idea where to start figuring this one out. My only thought is the 32bit compatibility libraries.

Run it from a terminal, also run top in the background (visibly) so that we can see any debug output messages/what's killing your machine. Also, anything that uses openGL/direct3D/directX should probably be run without compiz on.
