Weirdest thing: smbd crashes too, still is reported as running by systemd.

Could somebody confirm samba works? Is this kernel dependant?

Well, there are files in both, nmbd and smbd, but I don't know what to do with them.

Couldn't this be a security issue?

IMHO, it is a bug. I see it in various forms and versions, like here or, most probably, here. I know it is a different version, though...

Sorry, I can't find anything related to samba with journalctl.
I might be missing something, though.

I've tried coredumpctl list, but it doesn't find any dumps, despite they are there.

Code: Select all
# coredumpctl list
No coredumps found.

Anyway, I have two computers, after the latest updates, the second one has exactly the same behaviour. It is a bug definitely.
