What happened to eINIT? Shouldn't it replace the old INIT system on Sabayon? I likes the idea very much... or is it still in the pipeline?

it was dropped - the einit developer didn't want to work with the devs and it's still experimental software

I think that while init works, there's no reason to update until there's something really phenomenal and mature.
