compiling stuff (solved)

Post by conanm4 » Mon Apr 09, 2007 1:40

Is it normal for compiling to take like 20+ minutes on small apps? If so, how do you guys tolerate having this on your production maching? If you use it on your production machine that is.

Depends on your hardware. I have a pentium-M 1.73 and I still think it takes a lot of time. If your computer does the job you want to get done there is no need to update every single day, just update one time per onth or so. But get ready for massive compiling. One day or so
