Ok, I'm new to Linux completely but I decided to try it and I have been looking a long time for a disto that works with my PC. I have an Intel wireless 3945 network card installed on my PC and this is the only distro that has the driver for it (From what I hear). I was also looking for a live /w install option which I think this one has. So far, I've been looking for a place to download it with no luck, only torrents and for some reason I'm getting errors (saying the trackers bad) when I try to download the torrent (Got the torrent from multiple sites). Is there a FTP server I can get the DVD version 3.26 from?

BTWW, you are comfy with burning your own ISO and everything, right? If not, let us kknow and we'll point you to the right threads if you can't find them :)

No, there isn't (see last message on http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3235)

....except for the delta patches to upgrade the 3.25 ISO.

So I have to download it for 1.98$ in order to get it? What is wrong with the torrent anyway? I mean I used bitcomet and bittorrent and downloaded the torrent from different sites. What is wrong with it!? Either the app errors out or the torrent is corrupt.

EDIT: Now the torrent wants to work... :?

nah - the $1.98 d/l is hi-speed (~150k/s) If u look at the fine print on that page there is a free slow d/l.

maybe the rise in popularity of Sab will get it on some University mirrors...

Yes and I tried that a few hours ago. I was around 4.3k/s which if I kept up would be going more than 10 days. I think I'll pass on that.

already tried something like the "DownloadthemAll" plugin for firefox ?? (or another downloadmanager that opens 5 connections for example at once for 1 download), since I use this, I get max speed (430 kB/s) for my connection most of the time.

you get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/201/

(not all download mirrors accepts multiple connections, but +/- 70% does)

Now if only I had that sooner :) o well. Torrents almost finished, but caused a lot of trouble.

Yea, at 98%, it started crashing again. I gave up and went to a mirror. Estimated time till dled is 1 hour. This would have been so much easier...
