May be that the new kernel is still in the Limbo Repository.

after updates and upgrades, you may try this command:

Code: Select all

# equo query list available --verbose sabayon-limbo | grep linux-sabayon
Output for my Sabayon installation:

Code: Select all

# equo query list available --verbose sabayon-limbo | grep linux-sabayon
╠ # 194344 [251.8MB] [5] sys-kernel/linux-sabayon-5.4.10
installed:

Code: Select all

# equo query list installed --verbose sabayon-limbo | grep linux-sabayon
Senha:
╠ # 6145 [251.0MB] [5] sys-kernel/linux-sabayon-5.3.11
╠ # 6725 [251.8MB] [5] sys-kernel/linux-sabayon-5.4.10

I have two kernels, 5.4.10 is the boot kernel. I'm using both repositories: sabayaonlinux.org and limbo.

The problem isn't that they packages aren't there, it's that they don't show up for the kernel-switcher.

Something about the way the kernels are packaged up/listed in the database changed. I found my laptop which I hadn't updated in a while. The kernels were listed. I did an equo up, then a kernel-switcher list and all the kernels (but the one) were gone.

Stupot is right, I have installed 5.4 using the packages manager (kernel, modules for nVidia and Virtual Box).
But the kernel switcher lists only one kernel version.

From my part, all the time in the world, I'm sure you'll figure it out!
I was just pointing it is possible to upgrade the kernel pretty simple, IMHO, and that there is a problem unrelated to the limbo repo.
I love your work, guys!
